I just finished a SS at Ginger Scrap with Jen .
Here are the steps:
1. Pick one photo. Extract something from the photo.
Then, crop the same photo to 11x11.
Duplicate the layer, and turn the top layer black and white or sepia.
Then, reduce the opacity of the B&W or Sepia layer, so that you can see the color coming though the black and white picture. Between 40-70 percent.
2. Pick one background paper.
Put your 11x11 picture on top of it at an angle (I angled mine at 5 degrees) and then put your extracted or cropped item on top of the BIG picture.
3. Make a small (3 item) element cluster near your extracted photo.

4. Apply your shadows. Make them lighter than the default color...
If your extracted (or cropped) photo is on top of your BIG photo completely, it does not need a drop shadow.
If part of it is hanging off of the edge, that it the only part that needs a shadow.
5. For your title/slash journaling, pick a quote that has something to do with you picture. This is my favorite quote resource. Word Art it up.
6. Date your LO, save it, post it, and reply back here with your finished LO.
